Sustainable Play in a Healthcare Environment

Creating Sustainable and Child-Friendly Waiting Areas

Sustainability and Child-Friendly Waiting

For GGD Hollands Noorden, sustainability is not just an ambition, but a structural part of their housing policy. In close collaboration with municipalities and project partners, all locations are being gradually made more sustainable.

Play with Vision

At various GGD locations, we have implemented sustainable play solutions that align perfectly with this vision. These include fixed wall modules and furniture from our Buxus Collection, tailored to different age groups:

  • Babies and toddlers (0–4 years) in nursery rooms

  • Young children (4+) in waiting areas

  • Adapted play options in consultation rooms

Eco-Friendly Materials

Our play modules are made from sustainable wood and finished with environmentally friendly lacquer. Thanks to their robust design and minimal use of plastic, they fit seamlessly into the GGD’s circular vision.

Direct Impact in a Healthcare Environment

Adding our play elements brings calm to waiting areas, a warm welcome for children, and a more pleasant healthcare visit for both parents and professionals. Together, we create a child-friendly and future-focused care environment.

Would you like to create a sustainable and welcoming waiting area too?

We’d love to help you.
