For an Italian restaurant inside the Hard Rock Hotel in Malta, IKC created a fully customised 30 m² play area designed to enhance the experience for families with children.
The result is a playful environment that fits naturally within the restaurant and gives children their own space to explore, while parents can enjoy their dining experience in a more relaxed setting.
A fully customised play environment
The play area was carefully designed to match the colours, atmosphere and interior of the restaurant. Different interactive and playful elements come together in one complete concept, including the Wheel of Emotions and a specially designed Ferrari-inspired red play car.
Every detail was created to fit the location, from the colours and shapes to the individual play elements. Rather than a standard kids’ corner, the result is a play environment that becomes part of the overall restaurant experience.

While children have their own place to play and discover, parents can enjoy their meal with more peace and attention. This helps create a more comfortable experience for the whole family.
